Part 2: Stay Connected – Abiding In Christ | Pastor T. Wayne Daniels | Kingdom Life
What if freedom in Christ is not about trying harder, but staying closer?
In John 15, Jesus gives us the picture of the vine and the branches. A branch does not struggle to manufacture fruit; it bears fruit because it remains connected to its source of life. In the same way, the Christian life is not about producing for Jesus through our own strength. It is about abiding in Jesus so that His life can flow through us.
In Part 2 of this series, Pastor T. Wayne Daniels teaches that freedom flows from connection, abiding requires pruning, the Word of Christ must live within us, and the evidence of abiding is fruit.
When we remain in Christ, surrender to the Father's pruning, allow His Word to dwell richly within us, and walk by the Spirit, our lives begin to reveal the character of Jesus.
Fruit isn't the product of striving; fruit is the product of abiding.
